Abstract：We establish the Pogorelov type estimates for degenerate prescribed k-curvature equations as well as k-Hessian equations. In addition, we prove the interior C^{1,1} regularity for the solutions in some cases. We also discuss the asymptotic Plateau type problem in hyperbolic space using these techniques.
