Abstract: Zero temperature measures are the limit of the equilibruim measures µ 1/T φ → µ∞ φ as T → 0, where φ : M → R be the potential. These measures are of special interest in statistical physics and they have a natural connection with ergodic optimizations. In this talk, we will investigate the zero temperature measures of the local constant potentials for shift maps.
