Poincaré's pioneering work on area-preserving diffeomorphisms hasinspired much of modern mathematics, including chaotic phenomenon indynamical systems and Arnold conjecture in symplectic geometry. However,some of the problems and conjectures proposed by Poincaré remain open.We will describe some of these problems and some recent development onthese problems.
