We discuss two topics. Part A. Gromov-Witten Invariants: A key issue to define Gromov-Witten invariants is the existence of the fundamental class. There had been several different approaches: such as Fukaya-Ono, Li-Tian, Ruan and etc. We provided a completely different approach to this issue: We show that the Gromov-Witten invariants can be defined via the integration on top stratum of the moduli space. Therefore, all the complication near lower strata of the moduli space can be avoided entirely. This technique was first invented by Li-Ruan in the relative theory setting. Part B. Open String Invariants: Open string invariant theory have been studied by many mathematicians and physicists. This theory closely relates to relative Gromov-Witten theory and contact geometry. In this paper we propose a theory of open string invariants.
